Our Resort Policies

Check-in Information: 

All check-in times are scheduled for 3:00 PM or later to ensure a smooth process. In order to minimize congestion during check-out, we kindly request that guests refrain from arriving between 6:00 AM and 1:00 PM. If you require an early check-in, please contact our staff in advance. Approved early check-ins will be directed to designated overflow parking areas and will incur an additional fee. 

Check-out Information: 

Please note that all check-out times are scheduled for 11:00 AM or earlier. It is important to check out by this time to avoid incurring an additional day's charge. Thank you for your cooperation. 

Quiet Hours Policy: 

To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests, we have established quiet hours from 11:00 PM until 7:00 AM. We kindly request that radios and any loud noise be refrained from after 11:00 PM. For the safety and comfort of everyone, children under 18 years of age should be on their designated site by 10:00 PM, unless accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. 

We understand that late check-ins may be necessary. If you arrive after 10:00 PM, we kindly ask you to set up your site with utmost consideration for others, keeping noise to a minimum. If it is approaching 11:00 PM, we recommend waiting until the next morning before unloading any machinery or equipment. Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests. 

Grass/Grassy Areas Policy: 

To preserve the beauty and integrity of our grassy areas, we kindly request that vehicles, trailers, machines, and any similar items not be parked on the grass or grassy areas. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain the pristine condition of our grounds. 

Bathroom Etiquette: 

We kindly ask our guests not to wash riding clothes in the bathrooms or showers. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping these facilities clean and maintaining their intended use. Thank you for your understanding. 

Smoking Policy: 

To ensure a smoke-free environment for all our guests, we kindly request that smoking is prohibited in all cabins and buildings. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a healthy and enjoyable atmosphere. Thank you for your understanding. 

Speed Limit Notice: 

For the safety and well-being of all individuals within the campground, we kindly request that all vehicles adhere to a maximum speed limit of 5 miles per hour (mph). We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe and tranquil environment for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and adherence to the speed limit. 

Children Policy: 

For the safety and well-being of all children, we require that individuals under the age of 18 remain under the direct supervision of their parent or legal guardian at all times. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a secure environment for all. Thank you for your understanding and adherence to this policy. 

Age Restriction Policy: 

To ensure a safe and responsible environment, we regret to inform you that we do not rent campsites or cabins to individuals or groups under the age of 21. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in upholding this policy. 

ATV Policy: 

To ensure a smooth and considerate experience for all guests, we kindly request your cooperation with the following guidelines regarding ATVs: 

Unloading: Whenever possible, please unload your ATVs before backing into your site to minimize disruption. 

ATV Parking: We ask that you refrain from parking or riding your ATVs on the grass or concrete patio areas to preserve the cleanliness and safety of these spaces. 

Trail Access: Please remain on the graveled roads as you access the designated trail. This helps maintain the integrity of the surrounding areas. 

Quiet Hours: Starting from 11:00 PM, we kindly request that no ATVs are started or ridden, ensuring a peaceful environment for all guests.

Gas and Gas Cans Policy: 

To ensure the safety of our guests and property, we kindly request your cooperation with the following guidelines regarding gas and gas cans: 

Storage: Please keep all gas and gas cans away from cabins and refrain from placing them on the grass. This helps prevent any potential hazards or damage. 

Refueling ATVs/Bikes: We ask that you only fill your ATVs and bikes with gas in designated gravel areas. This ensures a safe and controlled environment for refueling.

Helmets Policy: 

To prioritize the safety of all individuals, we have implemented the following guidelines regarding helmets: 

Children's Helmets: For the protection of children, it is mandatory for them to wear helmets while on the campground and trails. This applies to all activities involving bicycles, ATVs, or any other relevant recreational vehicles. 

Bike Policy: 

To ensure a secure biking experience, please adhere to the following guidelines: 

Riding Location: Bicycles may be ridden exclusively on roadways. We kindly request that bicycles are not used on pedestrian pathways or off-road areas. 

Children's Helmets: It is mandatory for children to wear approved helmets while riding bicycles. This safety measure is in place to protect their well-being.

Trash Policy: 

We kindly request your assistance in maintaining a clean and appealing campground environment. As part of our commitment to conservation and cleanliness, we encourage you to follow these guidelines: 

Leave No Trace: Inspired by the Boy Scout Motto, "Leave it better than you found it," we ask that you help keep the campground clean and attractive. 

Garbage Bags: Garbage bags are conveniently available at the campground office for your convenience. Please make use of them to properly contain your trash. 

Fire Rings: To ensure safety and preserve the fire rings, we kindly request that you refrain from putting or burning garbage in them. They are intended for recreational fires only. 

Trash Disposal: Please place your bagged trash in the designated dumpster near the 'Welcome to the Mountain' sign. This centralized location allows for proper waste management. 

Overnight Garbage: It is essential not to leave garbage outside overnight. This prevents attracting wildlife and helps maintain a clean environment for all guests.

Firewood Policy: 

To ensure the preservation of our campground and prevent the spread of pests, please take note of the following guidelines regarding firewood: 

Firewood Availability: We offer firewood for sale at the campground office. You can conveniently purchase it from there for your campfires. 

Preventing Pest Spread: In accordance with the guidelines provided by the USDA Forest Service, it is advised not to transport firewood from state to state. To learn more about this policy, please visit www.na.fs.fed.us

Home-State Firewood: We kindly request that you do not bring firewood from your state or home to the campground. This helps prevent the introduction of pests and maintains the health of our natural surroundings.

Campfire Policy: 

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all campers, please take note of the following guidelines regarding campfires: 

Compliance with KY Burn Law: It is important to obey the Kentucky Burn Law regulations while having campfires. Familiarize yourself with the local laws and adhere to them during your stay. 

Contained Campfires: For the safety of our campground, we kindly request that campfires are kept contained within the provided fire rings on each site. These designated areas are designed to mitigate the risk of spreading fires. 

Attended Fires: Fires must be attended at all times. Please ensure that someone is present and responsible for monitoring the campfire until it is properly extinguished. 

Prohibited Materials: To maintain a clean and safe environment, please refrain from burning glass, cans, or styrofoam in the fire rings. These items can release harmful substances or cause damage. 

Fire Ring Placement: Please do not move the fire rings from their designated locations. Moving fire rings can lead to areas where grass will not grow, affecting the overall aesthetics of the campground. 

Campfire Timing: Campfires should only be burned after 6:00 PM. This allows for proper time to prepare and ensures that fires are extinguished before turning in for the evening.

Tree and Shrub Policy: 

To preserve the natural beauty and ecological balance of our campground, we strictly prohibit the cutting or removal of trees and shrubs. We appreciate your cooperation in respecting the importance of maintaining our surroundings. Thank you for your understanding and adherence to this policy. 

Table and Fire Ring Policy: 

For your convenience and enjoyment, each campsite is equipped with one picnic table and one fire ring. We kindly request that these items remain in their designated locations and are not moved. By adhering to this policy, we can ensure that every camper has access to these amenities. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. 

Code of Personal Conduct: 

In order to create a harmonious and enjoyable environment for all guests, we kindly request your cooperation in adhering to the following guidelines: 

Consideration for Others: Please be mindful and considerate of other individuals within the campground. Kindly respect their space, privacy, and comfort. 

Prohibited Conduct: Disorderly, ill-mannered conduct, or any form of drunkenness that disrupts the peace and tranquility of the campground will not be tolerated. We expect all guests to maintain a respectful and responsible demeanor. 

Parental Responsibility: Parents or guardians are responsible for the behavior and actions of their children at all times. Ensuring that children adhere to the campground's rules and guidelines is essential in maintaining a safe and pleasant atmosphere for everyone. 

 We appreciate your understanding and adherence to these standards of personal conduct. Together, we can create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all guests. 

Alcohol Policy: 
To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests, we have implemented the following guidelines regarding the consumption of alcoholic beverages: 

On-Site Consumption: Alcoholic beverages should be consumed exclusively on your designated campsite. Please refrain from consuming alcohol in public areas or outside of your designated area. 

Underage Drinking and Substance Abuse: The consumption of alcohol by individuals who are underage, as well as the use of drugs or excessive alcohol consumption, is strictly prohibited. Violation of these rules will result in immediate removal from the campground by local authorities. 

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these policies. By doing so, we can maintain a secure and pleasant environment for all guests. 

Firearms Policy: 

For the safety and well-being of all guests, the possession and use of firearms of any kind, including BB guns, slingshots, and similar devices, are strictly prohibited at all times within the campground premises. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy. Thank you for understanding. 

Fireworks Policy: 

To prioritize the safety of our campground and all guests, we strictly prohibit the use of fireworks at all times. This includes any type of fireworks, and failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate expulsion from the premises. Please note that no refund will be provided in such cases. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a secure and enjoyable environment for everyone. 

Pet Policy: 

To ensure a comfortable and safe environment for all guests, we have established the following guidelines regarding pets: 

Pet Registration: Please register your pet during the check-in process. This helps us maintain accurate records and ensures that all necessary information is on file. 

Leash Requirement and Supervision: For the safety of your pet and others, all pets must be kept on a leash at all times and should not be left unattended. This helps maintain control and prevents any potential incidents. 

Considerate Behavior: Please ensure that your pets are well-behaved and do not disturb other guests. Keep them quiet and under control to promote a peaceful environment for everyone's enjoyment. 

Waste Cleanup Responsibility: It is your responsibility to promptly clean up after your pets. Please carry waste bags and dispose of them in the designated trash bins. This helps maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the campground. 

Restricted Pets: For the safety and comfort of all guests, pets with a prior bite record are not permitted within the campground. 

Cabin Restrictions: Due to potential allergies, pets are not allowed inside the cabins. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Weather Policy: 

At Hidden Mountain ATV Resort, we prioritize guest safety and strive to provide a pleasant experience. Please review the following guidelines regarding our weather policy: 

No Refunds, Credits, or Changes: We regret to inform you that we are unable to offer refunds, credits, or changes to reservations due to weather conditions. This policy ensures consistency and fairness to all guests. 

Hold Harmless Agreement: By staying at Hidden Mountain ATV Resort, guests agree to hold harmless the resort, its owners, and employees from any responsibility or liability regarding "Acts of Nature." This includes any unforeseen incidents or damages resulting from natural occurrences.
